Ընթացիկ տարվա վերջին գերլուսինը տեղի է ունեցել հունիսի 24-ին: Երկրի բնական արբանյակը երևացել է 30%-ով ավելի պայծառ և 14%-ով ավելի մեծ, քան սովորական օրերին երևում է Լուսինը:

Հայտնի է, որ գերլուսնի ժամանակ մեր մոլորակի և դրա շուրջ պտտվող բնական արբանյակի միջև տարածությունը հասնում է նվազագույնի։
